A message from RUCOSUO's Founder, Lukas Kariongi:
Hi Everyone,
My name is Naramath Lucas Kariongi. In 2013, My father, Lukas, started a non-profit organization called RUCOSUO, The Rural Community Support Organization, based in the remote community of Maasailand, Tanzania, East Africa. Our goal is to decrease poverty and increase the quality of life for the indigenous Maasai people through solar education and practical training and installation of WeShareSolar Suitcases . These will provide lighting and mobile cell phone charging to five (5) rural primary school classrooms!
We kindly invite you to support RUCOSUO in reaching its goal in providing critical classroom lighting in remote off-grid village schools in the Simanjiro district of Tanzania. It helps improve safety, student test scores, and the overall well-being among students and staff.
100% of funds go towards providing primary school classrooms with a WeShare Solar Suitcase, which includes lights, cell phone charging, and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) lesson on the practical implementation of solar energy.
RUCOSUO has the support of WeShareSolar, and our Solar Trainers have years of experience installing and implementing WeShareSolar Suitcases in rural schools .
RUCOSUO's solar students become trainers. Lukas Kariongi has trained dozens of youth and equipped them to deliver top-notch training programs to rural school children, school teachers, and school administrative staff.
With every $1,500 USD we raise, we can light up another rural primary school and increase learning capacity among Maasai youth!
If we reach our goal of $7,500 USD, we can bring classroom lights to all 5 target primary schools in the Simanjiro District!
Help us reach the goal by donating and sharing with your friends and family.
Asante Sana! - (Thank you in Swahili)

Habari,
Asante Sana!
