Fund for Sophia Huff

Our names are Maggie Schweitzer and Logan Huff. We are Sophia's Aunt and Uncle from Madison, WI.

Please consider helping this family whose world was shattered on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 when little Miss Sophia’s life was traumatically taken from us. Sophia Huff was a very happy, energetic, and full of life little girl at just two years old. Like any two year old, she loved to play, dance, giggle, and be with the ones that loved her the most.

 In Sophia’s final days, her parents made a decision no parent  should ever have to make about their two year old daughter, but they  knew what a hero Sophia was and that she was meant to live on in other little children’s lives. At just two years old Sophia has already saved four people’s lives by donating her heart and liver to children in Illinois and her kidneys and intestines to a children in Wisconsin. Sophia has given these children the best gift they will ever receive.

Now, it is our turn to thank Sophia for being a brave, strong hero and help her family cover medical expenses that have occured through this tragic event. We will also be making a memorial in honor of out little Miss Sophia with any extra funds. We will be withdrawing the funds as the bills arrive and when a memorial is set. Any type of donation is greatly appreciated.

Although her time here on Earth was short,the footprints she left will never be replaced or filled. We would like to lastly say Thank You to all of our family and friends who have stood by our side and supported us this past week as we went through the hardest week of our lives. We would also like to thank all of the nurses and doctors at American Family Children’s Hospital who gave our Sophia the best care and support we could ask for.
