South Shore Fire Mom & 2 Daughters Need Help
Donation protected
My name is Kim, I received several calls this morning alerting me my sister’s house caught fire. I rushed around the corner devastated to see the entire 2 flat was on fire. My sister and her 2 daughters were asleep inside. A bus driver and a passenger jumped off the bus to knock on doors to get everyone out! He definitely was an angel.
I am very grateful no one was hurt. Possessions can be replaced. The garage was set on fire the previous day. The next morning they returned to a burned down house. My nieces are 10 and 5, they have not one stitch of clothing, shoes, school supplies or toys. My sister lost her car and everything she owns. They are in need of anything that you can contribute. EVERYTHING is appreciated.
The 10 year old has type 1 diabetes her medicine was in the refrigerator, which was as well lost. She owned that home, provided shelter to my family when they had nowhere to live and now it’s all gone. We do know who set the fire, police and the fire department are investigating and hopefully they will be arrested soon. Thank you showing up in a very difficult time for my family.
