SPARE SOME CHANGE 4 BALTIMORE - The Baltimore Scene
Tax deductible
The Baltimore Scene is a grassroots movement established in 2006 to serve, love, unite, connect, promote, honor and develop Baltimore’s Arts, Activism and Entrepreneurial Scene.
It achieves this mission by bringing the community together over the last two decades via 100s of community events, talent shows, townhall meetings and programs; by providing art development and work force opportunities to train and support youth and adults, and by celebrating Baltimore’s excellence and genius via producing and hosting the weekly The Baltimore Scene radio show on WEAA 88.9, via The Baltimore Crown Awards lovingly referred to as Baltimore’s Family Reunion and by promoting The Black Mall, a community event that invites and welcomes all people of all backgrounds and paths to show love and support to two floors of Black artisans, artists, creatives, companies, youth entrepreneurs and more to benefit economy of small/local businesses from Baltimore and beyond.
We celebrate 19 years of The Baltimore Scene this year at our next Baltimore Crown Awards Dec 7 2025
We were approved for fiscal sponsorship under Fusion to raise large funds for the community work we do and to expand the work and vision.
We want to use these funds to continue to celebrate and honor Baltimore, to provide youth and young adults with leadership and art development opportunities; to promote and develop the skills and knowledge of creatives and activists; to curate loving and joy filled multi generational events that bring people together, and to continue to support/connect and develop Black businesses including youth entrepreneurs, to give all Baltimore artists more opportunities and to continue to shine light on all of the talent and greatness that is Baltimore and make Bmore synonymous with all the greatness and genius that’s here. All donations are tax deductible. We deeply appreciate your support.
