Support Split Creek Farm, LLC - COVID-19 Relief
Donation protected
COVID 19 is hitting small businesses like ours hard. IF we raise at least $500 and we are approved as a small business by Go Fund Me as part of the Small Business Relief Initiative (#SmallBusinessRelief) we could receive $500 in matching funds.
A large part of our income is through product sales to restaurants. With closures and limited menus being offered due to COVID 19 restrictions, our sales to restaurants have ceased. In addition, several community events have been cancelled and Spring Farmer's Markets have been cancelled, postponed or delayed for the foreseeable future - all of which provide income we need, and rely upon, each year.
We cannot close our farm and tell our animals to stop eating or producing the milk we need for our newborn kids, our value added products OR the milk so many people with health and dietary needs require to survive. We must continue to provide for our animals and our community in this time of need.
We are seeking assistance to buy feed for our animals. All money raised will go entirely to the animals. Our average weekly feed bill is $1800.00 and we would be overjoyed to raise the full amount requested. We anticipate that once restaurants re-open and start ordering again, it will take at least another month before we start to receive payments again.
As a small business we do not have reserve funds to carry us through months of lost income and we find ourselves forced to ask for help. Our animals who bring smiles to so many faces, provide delicious milk to make our products and who we love with all of our hearts depend on us and they will always be our #1 priority.
Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide - every little bit will help and we look forward to seeing you happy, healthy and smiling at the farm again soon!
