Old National Bank $25,000 Match Challenge!
Tax deductible
Old National Bank recently delivered miracle news to St. Jude House Family Violence Prevention Center and Emergency Domestic Violence Shelter. The bank, formerly known as First Midwest Bank, announced it will provide a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $25,000 through December 20. This generous “Match Challenge” means that every dollar raised will be doubled with the potential of raising $50,000 by year-end.
St. Jude House, located in Crown Point, Indiana, is the largest domestic violence shelter in Northwest Indiana and provided more than 10,000 nights of safe shelter last year to hundreds of women, children and men. Since opening its doors in 1996, more than 14,500 people have had their lives changed thanks to support from generous people, just like you!
The mission of St. Jude House is to provide comprehensive, compassionate safety, shelter and services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their dependent children. St. Jude House is a catalyst and resource for the prevention, education and awareness of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
All programs and services are offered free of charge. The 24/7 crisis line is available to those who need shelter as well as anyone who has questions or needs resource information. St. Jude House provides services to clients without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability. They support clients every hour of every day to ensure their success on their path to self sufficiency.
Your donation today WILL rescue a parent and children from a life of abuse. You can help fund many programs and services and also help with “escape essentials” like the 24-hour crisis line, the emergency crisis transportation to St. Jude House. Your gift today will also help cover the fees for essential replacement items that are left behind, items such as birth certificates, social security cards and a driver’s license.
