A highly respected family man who was much loved by his colleagues, his community, and his wife and kids. His memory will live on as a man who was revered by his peers, having made a lasting difference in the lives of many.
It is with absolute regret that we learned of Staff Sergeant Jeff Harmer's passing on Sunday November 17, 2019.
This is an incredibly difficult time for his family, the members of the OPP, and the policing community as a whole.
Staff Sergeant Harmer is survived by his wife Heather, and their beautiful children.
Please show them the true strength and support of their policing family, and help them rebuild their lives by donating today. Funds will go towards the family, and be allocated however they so choose.
Visitation to be held Sunday November 24th between 11:00 and 13:00 at Simcoe Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life will begin at 13:00 in the chapel of the Simcoe Funeral Home, followed by a social gathering with refreshments.
