Stand With Margie #StandWithMargie

On July 3rd, 2015 a letter was sent out from an independent catholic school outside of Philadelphia, communicating the dismissal of Margie Winters. Margie had worked for 8 years at this school, and during her entire tenure, the administration of the school was fully aware that she was in a same-sex marriage. It was only after a parent complained to the archdiocese that the school was obliged to terminate her employment. 

Margie gracefully guided the entire school community - students, families, and faculty in the spirit of mercy. We are heartbroken to see her leave under these conditions. 

All of the funds raised through this site will go  directly to Margie and her partner, Andrea.
