STAR'S MOVE TO COLORADO

Hi friends and family!
As many of you may know I have been on a LONG journey these past 6 years towards achieving my lifelong dream of becoming a professional news reporter/meteorologist. Knocking down barriers as a woman of color, first generation college graduate, while being the BEST mommy I can be to my son Bryce, and ultimately defeating statistics and achieving my goals. One of the biggest blessings I've had thus far is the pleasure to bring many of you along with me via Instagram, Facebook,Snap, etc!
With that being said I have some AMAZING NEWS!!
I’m excited to share that the next chapter for me is a News Reporter position for CBS in Colorado!
Yep you heard that right!, your girl is moving to Colorado!
A position that initially wasn’t suppose to open any time soon has suddenly become available and not only is it mine but I have just TWO WEEKS to move! Unfortunately the new position does not help out with any moving or relocation expenses.
This is where you can help! (Hence the reason for this page.)
This is a very expensive move with such a short notice.
I am willing to do whatever it takes to continue to pursue my career in the news industry. But I can’t do it alone.
Any donations made will be strictly to fund my move from California to Colorado. ( I promise you won’t see me on TV rockin’ some new Louboutins with y’all money lol). Any funds not used for these events I will “pay-it-forward” to help someone else pursue their goals and dreams.
This is such an exciting time and I must admit that I myself am a little shook!! Only 4 months post graduation and I’ve landed my first news reporter job! Reporting on LIVE TV! I could literally just scream!!!!!!!
Although I am moving away from all my friends, family and support system I know the sacrifice will be worth it in the end.
For anyone wondering... this is the way it works in news sometimes...moving away to a smaller market is part of my journey. BUT!!! I will make my way back to Los Angeles. How could I not! This is Home! This is where my heart is.
Many of you have kept me going through the years (emotionally, mentally, and physically) whether it be with your supportive words, acknowledgment, prayers and constant encouragement to pursue my own goals and dreams. I often receive emails, texts, messages or phone calls from people about how I have inspired them to pursue their own personal goals. So, as I make my way to Colorado for the BIG move in just two weeks, it is all of you that I carry there with me hoping to continue to inspire and motivate to chase your dreams just as you motivated and encouraged me to continue to chase mine.
