Help Replace Stinky Kindergarten Rug

Look at my kindergarten chickadees as graduating seniors! They came back to their first classroom and first teacher to celebrate their achievements. They even remembered where they sat on the rug. Yep. That rug. The. Same. Rug. And, it wasn’t new 12 years ago, either.

Consider for a moment how many 5-year-olds have peed, pooped, or puked on this rug. Obviously, I’m asking for help to get a new rug. Wouldn't you?

In all seriousness, this rug has seen better days. It’s also too small and there are some years when I have students that don’t have a spot to sit in. No kindergarten student should feel like they don’t belong with the class in their own square on the rug. Please find it in your heart to donate so that I can buy a new, larger Lakeshore rug with a spot for everyone. Thank you!
