Hot off the heels of our hugely successful first series, the Live from Stonewall ‘Pride Special’ is coming on your screens Saturday 27th June at 8pm presented by The Stonewall Hotel, Create & Cast and Undefine Media!
Live from Stonewall fast became the biggest queer livestream show in Australia since we launched in March running for 10 massive weekly episodes. The show gained over 100k viewers, got nominated for a Time Out ‘Time In Award’ in the Best Entertainment category, and recently received a Cultural Resilience Grant from the City of Sydney! We also raised money for 10 amazing charities aiding the Queer Community. Returning once more as a multi-camera LIVE stream community entertainment show starring Sydney drag icon Minnie Cooper and filmed at Sydney’s iconic Stonewall Hotel on Oxford Street. Co-hosted by Steven Milne and Jake Gablonski, the show is packed with glittering variety, surprises, comedy and musical performances, superstar guest DJs plus a host of special guest celebrities, comedians, musicians and community heroes. Things get cheeky with our Sexy Barman Ivan, and we keep it safe and sanitised thanks to the now infamous Pam Demic, the Masked Cleaner!
We will give 50% of the GoFundMe donations made to our Pride Special, to our chosen charities including Black Rainbow. The rest is distributed between production overheads and the freelance crew. It allows freelance creatives affected by job losses due to COVID-19 to keep working. The production has been designed to run to the highest safety standards and with social distancing rules applied to everyone set.
The Live From Stonewall Pride Special will keep the queer community and our allies connected and supported during this unprecedented time with help and advice. We’ll discuss the LGBTIQA+ community with a focus on Indigenous Queer Culture, play the latest music videos from Artists around the world, and review the best queer films for viewers to stream in partnership with Queer Screen, as well as chatting on air our viewers. Broadcasting FREE, Live from Stonewall is a ground-breaking show allowing audiences to interact with live entertainment from home.

What better way than putting on an uplifting comedy show full of variety and content that everyone can interact with and will lift spirits and support those in the community in particular our Indigenous Queer family.”
