Urgent Help for manny who needs lifesaving treatment

Thank you all for your donations. Due to your generosity your money was used for Manny’s medication and blood tests and this helped to save his life.

Below is a picture of Manny who is in the middle of treatment.. he is very alert and putting on weight. As soon as his treatment began he started grooming himself , eating very well and has become very playful. He was a cat who was at deaths door & now he is thriving and happy with all his strength back.

Manny finishes his treatment in the middle of November and then will have to start 84 days of his observation period. In these days there is a chance he can relapse but it is a low probability & he must be monitered and observed with keeping his stress levels very low. IF he relapses Manny will have continue another round of medication until blood tests prove otherwise. We must remain on standby incase anything changes and buy more medication. So please keep the donations coming...

Raising urgent money for Manny who has been diagnosed with FIP. (Feline infectious peritonitis) It is a viral disease of cats caused by certain strains of a virus called the feline coronavirus.

The medication costs £280 a month for 4+ months, plus regular health check ups including blood tests. This medicine is very vital for manny’s survival. Without this he will wither and die.

Please help in saving his life. His sweet little sister passed away with the same disease but it was not diagnosed before she passed & she leaves behind 4 beautiful kittens.

He may need multiple tests and a scan which is very, very costly as well as ongoing treatment. (Attached is an invoice of one day’s tests and medicines)

He is a rescue cat and no insurance covers pre-existing conditions.

The Prophet (saw) was ‘a mercy to the worlds’ [The Noble Qur’an, 21:107] - thus, he showed compassion to animals too, not just people. We should not consider their pain to be any less than ours; they deserve to be treated with gentleness.

“A good deed done to an animal is as meritorious as a good deed done to a human being, while an act of cruelty to an animal is as bad as an act of cruelty to a human being.” (Mishkat al-Masabih; Book 6; Chapter 7, 8:178.)

Having consideration for their suffering, especially during times like this shows the softness of your heart, and it can extinguish your sins, just like charity to people. It can even be a Sadaqah Jariyah for you.
