"With great sadness, I announce the passing of my grandfather, James (Dino Valentino) Lamparello, in his home in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, September 14, 2024. He was born on August 24, 2024, in New York, NY, and was a military veteran. He leaves behind his wife, Francesca, of over 60 years, as well as 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was incredibly proud of his Italian heritage and had a talent for singing, reminiscent of the Rat Pack. He was a dedicated New York Yankees fan and often joked that he belonged on the team. Throughout his career with Revlon, he traveled the world cutting hair and making wigs, eventually becoming the President of Sassy Do! in Florida, a sister company of Claire's Boutique. His presence will be deeply missed."
