Support Hosanna Fisk's journey with Edward Syndrome

Hosanna Ruth Fisk was born to Nathan and Mickayla Fisk on April 24th weighing only 4 lbs and 12 oz, and 17inches long.

From the Fisk family: Our beautiful girl is so strong and so brave! While this time has brought so much joy with the blessing of our daughter is has also been one of the hardest things we’ve experienced. Our planned induction, in just a few quick hours, turned into an emergency c-section because our little girl was struggling. As soon as she was born was taken straight to the NICU. Hosanna has Trisomy 18, otherwise known as Edward’s Syndrome. Its a genetic disorder that occurs randomly without a specific cause and can affect many different parts of her development physically and cognitively. At home care will be pretty extensive including oxygen support, feeding tube, physical and occupational therapy, home health nurses, etc.. There is a strong likelyhood that between 6 months to a year Hosanna will need heart surgery. Trisomy 18 syndrome can be very life threatening and statistics are not in our favor, but we are surrendering it all to God because we know He’s got her and He’s got us. We will do all that we can to encourage and set her up for a life that is a testimony to God’s miracle working power, whatever His will is. His will be done. This has been full of emotion; joy, blessing, so much love, but also confusion, sadness, and pain. Through it all, through every unexpected high and low, God has been so faithful. Hosanna is such a strong fighter and God has continually been building her strength in big and small strides. God really is sooo good! Hosanna is the most beautiful and precious girl I have laid eyes on. God has big plans for her.
