Help Jacque's Kids with Her Memorial & Expenses

Hello, my name is Mikaela and I'm Jacque’s daughter.

Many of you know my mom as the feisty little gal dancing at a concert, belting Melissa Ethridge, ACDC, or The Best of Bread, turning tables as a Bistro veteran... an artist, co-conspirator, coworker, sister, niece, cousin, friend.

Recently, I dropped everything and returned to Bismarck upon finding out suddenly that my mother was in the ICU at St. Alexius Hospital. She received a life-threatening diagnosis and is very sick, and though she has been moved from the ICU, she is still in critical condition.

My brothers, Travis and Elijah, have put their lives on hold as well to be here for her, choosing to be out of work for the time being with no vacation pay. We don’t know how long we will be here, and because none of us have an income coming in at the moment, we’re asking for a little help.

We are all struggling and having an emotional time trying to figure out what the best way is to navigate the difficult path forward and it would be so helpful for us to have something to ease the financial stress mounting on top of everything. We are asking anyone who is able or would like to donate any amount, large or small, to help in allowing us the ability to stay in Bismarck and support our mom. Donations will be split between the three of us and go towards covering bills and expenses such as food, gas, travel expenses to and from Bismarck, as well as unexpected future expenses that come up. Since my mom has been hospitalized and not working, we need to make sure her bills are getting paid too, and keep up on her ongoing expenses such as her mortgage, utilities, etc.

If you know my mom, of course you know she is a tough woman and we are hoping for her strength and light to return, but we want to be there for her until then no matter what. I’m hoping we can continue to reciprocate some of the care she has given us throughout our lives. We are grateful for any and all donations anyone is able to give.
