Study Abroad in London
Hi, my name is Krin Beach, and I am fundraising to study abroad in London in May of 2023. I am so excited and honored to be given this fantastic opportunity to explore different cultures and expand my horizon! I am currently a junior at Cornerstone University studying Early Childhood Education. I love seeing children develop and find ways to grow their energetic personalities, which I see when working at Grand Rapids Christian Schools and my work as a behavioral technician. If you don't find me helping children or completing my coursework at the local schools, I will most likely be on the softball field or court. I enjoy playing softball as a golden eagle and pickleball in our club!
This is such an incredible opportunity that I plan on taking up, but unfortunately, it is quite costly. I am raising the tuition and fees on my own to cover the cost of the trip and the expenses listed below. I would appreciate all the support given to take full advantage of this opportunity.
- This trip is two weeks long, and we travel to three cities; Oxford, Lake District, and London.
- Program fees include Airfare and transportation in England, room and board, fees for program-related experiences in London, and Emergency medical insurance.

- The Teacher Education Division hosts this trip at Cornerstone University, and the class is Children's Literature.

- What we will do: read to children in various schools, explore historical landmarks of famous texts, develop an understanding and compassion for other cultures
