Help Michelle Reynold’s Fight Against Cancer

Mom (Michelle Reynolds) has been complaining for weeks now about her back. As the pain just kept getting worse and decided to see a chiropractor. She had gone several times and for regular adjustments to get her back, back in line, but it was not helping. By Thursday she was in such pain that she could barely stand or even walk to the bathroom. By 11am that day she could not get off the toilet and was in chronic pain. At this point there was severe bleeding and not 100% sure where it was coming from. She had to call Dad (Eric Reynolds) from work to come home and help her. By the time he got there she was on the verge of passing out, so he headed to ER. When they arrived, she was taken straight back. A CT scan was done and that is when they found a fracture in her back and a large mass in her cervix. Bad scary shape. At this point they were shipping her to Springfield to find out what was going on. She was taken to Springfield and was admitted to ICU after several hours in ER. They moved her to a regular room on Sunday. They have done a biopsy of the mass in the cervix, and we are waiting for the results of that. She went home on Monday in a full back brace from under her arms clear to her butt. She cannot get up on her own, and Dad is doing a lot for her. She had a Dr appointment on Tuesday to have and MRI done on her back and when they tried to start it, she was unable to lay on the table to get it done she had severe pain in her back and could not do it. The pain was so bad that they had to have an ambulance take to ER from the MRI room. After several doses of Morphine, they got her pain somewhat under control, and she was readmitted to the hospital. They were finally able to get the MRI done. They have been told that the fracture had worsened. Doctors also believe that she has a diseased vertebra, and the mass is adding pressure on her back.

There are many unknowns now, and she is likely going to be off work for a while. That said, we are asking for prayers for the doctors to find out what the mass is and control her back pain.
