Support Sandeep & Sonali: A Family in Need

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

Today, we reach out to you with heavy hearts to share the deeply moving story of Sandeep and Sonali, a couple whose lives have been dedicated to uplifting others even during crisis.

The Journey
For years, Sandeep and Sonali have been beacons of hope in their community in the Indian Himalayas. Sandeep, an attorney, and Sonali, an archaeologist with a PhD, have dedicated their lives to serving others while working and also through their nonprofit organization, which provides vital healthcare services at a free clinic, fostering cultural heritage and offering a lifeline to those in need (www.hichs.org). Their unwavering commitment has transformed countless lives, but now, the very individuals who have dedicated themselves to helping others are in a fight for their survival.

Background of surmounting problems
Recently, Sandeep suffered a brain stroke, a devastating event that robbed him of his speech and left him with a paralyzed hand.
During this struggle, Sonali is navigating her battle with the aftermath of breast cancer stage 3, which she bravely fought, spread positivity and hope to countless others, and is currently in remission. She now faces additional health challenges, including post-cancer lymphedema, a rotator cuff tear, and adhesive capsulitis, which severely limit her ability to work and function.
Throughout their lives, Sandeep and Sonali have always looked forward with positivity, finding strength in each other and their shared dreams. However, the current hardships have tested their resilience like never before. Their 11-year-old son has been riding the tide with them, navigating the ups and downs of this tumultuous journey. The emotional toll on their family is immense, as they strive to maintain a sense of stability during such turbulent times.

The Hardships
As Sandeep faces a long and arduous road to rehabilitation, he is unable to work, and the couple now finds themselves with zero income. They have depleted their savings and are struggling to meet even the most basic needs—food, shelter, and medical care. The stress and uncertainty of their situation are palpable, and the fear of what tomorrow may bring hangs heavy in the air.

Sonali is trying hard to support their family and their nonprofit by teaching online, but her income is simply not enough to cover their essential expenses. The couple's bond has always been a source of strength, but this crisis tests the very limits of their resilience. They are heartbroken, not only for their struggles but for the community they have tirelessly served and the dreams they have yet to fulfill.

Sandeep does not have disability income so they are in very troubled waters. When all efforts and avenues are closing, starting this campaign is their only way to stay afloat.

What This Means to Them
Sandeep and Sonali have always believed in the power of compassion and community. They have dedicated their lives to lifting others, and now they find themselves in a vulnerable position, seeking the same kindness they have so freely given. Your support would mean the world to them—not just in terms of financial assistance, but as a powerful reminder that they are not alone in this fight. It would restore their hope during this dark time and allow them to focus on healing and recovery.

How You Can Help
We are humbly asking for your support to help Sandeep and Sonali navigate this overwhelming chapter of their lives. Your donations will go directly toward covering their essential living expenses, medical treatments, and rehabilitation efforts. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a profound impact on their journey and provide them with the comfort they so desperately need.

Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your network. Together, we can show Sandeep and Sonali that the love and support they have given to others is now being returned to them in their time of need.

In moments of crisis, we often turn to the bonds of community and friendship. Sandeep and Sonali have always been there for others, and now it's our turn to be there for them. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
