Support Christen and Heath

My name is Shasta and I am fundraising for my daughter Christen and son-in-law Heath. Heath has stage 4 colorectal cancer (CRC) and he is 40 years old.

Heath was diagnosed in April 2021. He has been fighting cancer using chemotherapy since he was diagnosed. Despite the treatments, his cancer has continued to progress. On June 9th, he made the difficult decision to discontinue treatment and begin hospice care at home, choosing to spend his remaining time with his friends, family, and their dog Hershey. The money from this fundraiser will be used to support them during this difficult time.

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States and the number of people diagnosed under the age of 50 keeps rising. This disease is horrible and nobody should have to go through this, especially people so young.

Christen and Heath were married on October 31, 2013. They are not only husband and wife, they are the best of friends.

If you have the resources to help, please donate. It would be deeply appreciated. There are so many unanticipated costs that go along with situations like this, and it is our hope that we can lessen that burden for them and take care of any needs to get them through this time.
