Help the Benefield’s During this Critical Time

Donation protected

In the late 1960s, my parents, Dave, a dedicated war veteran, and Betty, an executive secretary at USC Medical Center, moved into our beloved home at Altadena Drive. Built in 1926, it was not a mansion, but it was filled with charm and character. Our living room, with its high ceilings and indoor balconies, became a playground for our imaginations, where we launched parachute men and gliders along with my sister’s performances on rainy days. The dining room echoed with laughter during special occasions, and the den was our go-to spot for scary movie nights.

Tragically, my family lost everything in a devastating event—my mom's lifetime of photos, my sister's cherished artwork, and my dad's photo album from his military service. Our entire neighborhood, including the palm trees that have been home to wild parrots for generations, was destroyed.

As we navigate this long and challenging journey, we welcome any contributions to support my family. Your generosity will help us cover essential needs providing a foundation for stability and a sense of normalcy during this difficult time.

Every gesture, no matter how big or small, makes a meaningful difference. Together, we can bring hope and healing back into our lives.

Thank you for standing with us during this challenging time. Your support means the world to us.

God bless you.
