Funds for Shaman Brothers in Peru: Roberto & Rene

Hola, Friends and Family ....

 

The GoFundMe fundraiser I initiated last year for my birthday was for two causes: one was the sea turtle efforts going on in Collado, Nicaragua led by "Turtle Tim", and the other was for my shaman/master teachers in the Sacred Valley (Cusco), Roberto & Rene Flores Solis. Many of you who know me understand how important Roberto and Rene are in my life ... they have helped me and others heal from depression, anxiety, cancer, heart problems, and other ailments on a physical, psychological, and spiritual level.

Some of you may be aware of the anti-government protests happening in Peru right now (check out this article for good information). It is all true, sadly. The latest is that even the spiritual pilgrimage site of Machu Picchu has been closed because of the violence and unrest.

I have been checking in on the safety and well-being of Roberto and Rene and their families, they have shared with me, "We're starting to have problems of limitations with gas for fuel for the cars, and trucks can't get to the stores, so shelves are empty. All the prices have been raised. Things are currently ok, we are safe, but there are concerns because no one knows when things will get any better. It is scary for many."

Therefore, I am shifting the purpose of this GoFundMe to send 100% of the funds to Roberto and Rene, for providing economic stability at a time of great unrest, and to provide for their families. They are continuing to cultivate "Miska Wara" into a place for healing, and that is now secondary to their livelihood and sense of safety and well-being. They help others, so by helping them, a large ripple effect of goodness and generosity is spread.

 

 If you have spare funds to provide, I assure you, it will all go to Roberto and Rene and their families so they can provide for their families and help others.
