Support for Family Who Lost Drowned Teen Christian Perkins

It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of the tragic loss of Christian Omar Perkins. During what was meant to be a celebratory time at Riis Beach, an unforeseen accident occurred, and Christian, along with his friend Elijha, drowned in a riptide. The family is in deep mourning and struggling to cope with this unimaginable pain. The continued prayers of the community and extensive support through services and activism are greatly appreciated.

Christian was an energetic, smart, athletic, and loved individual. He played varsity Football at his high school and for other community football teams. He enjoyed making people laugh and always found ways to charm himself outside of staying indoors. He was 1 of 5 siblings and life of the party to all who knew him.
