I'm Ashley, and along with my husband, we're the proud owners of Josie's German Restaurant and Market, a beloved business we run from our home. Established in 1986 by my husband's mother, Josie, who emigrated from München, Germany, our restaurant has become an institution, celebrating almost 40 years of authentic German cuisine and culture. Following Josie's passing 13 years ago, we've honored her memory by continuing her legacy. Tragedy struck when a fire destroyed our home and restaurant, leaving us with heartbreaking losses. In the face of adversity, we're turning to our community and friends for support through a GoFundMe campaign, aiming to rebuild, recover, and hopefully revive Josie's in Mechanicsburg in the near future.
