Support Rasha to safe her family from Gaza war!

Hello everyone, my name is Nour, a Palestinian-Canadian from Gaza who lives in Mississauga, Ontario. I have been separated from my family since 2006 due to the siege on Gaza, and I am now collecting donations to bring my mother, my sisters, their husbands, and their children (not all of them are more than that) to Canada. While the newly announced emergency immigration pathway gives our families much-needed hope, Canada unfortunately does not provide any financial support unlike it has in other displacement situations, and many families are fundraising to help bear the enormous financial burden of travel and necessities alone. Please read our story and expense details below.
On December 22, 2023, Canada unveiled a transformational immigration measure aimed at assisting Canadians and permanent residents who have family members in Gaza. As i a Canadian citizen, I have the responsibility of bringing my extended family to Canada. However, this endeavor comes with a tremendous financial burden, and I am reaching out to you for your invaluable support.
Although the Canadian government provides a lifeline to Palestinians through this program, it does not provide financial assistance, which places an enormous financial responsibility on individuals like me. Accounting for the first year's expenses has highlighted the significant financial commitment required, and I am confident that, with your support, I can share this burden and pave the way for a hopeful future for my family.
● More Information on Canada's Emergency. Program
After months of pleas from Canadians with extended family members in the war zone, Immigration Canadian Minister Marc Miller announced the new temporary visa program for people in the Gaza Strip who have Canadian relatives. Miller called the situation in Gaza “unlivable,” he expects to have a temporary visa program up and running by Jan. 9, 2024. He underscored the challenges of getting out of the besieged Palestinian territory. Mr. Miller said that Canada has no guarantees from Israel, Hamas, or Egypt that extended family members on Canada's list will be able to leave. Moreover, the Canadian Government will not have any financial assistance for evacuees or their families in Canada. It means that my family will have to pay all the travel expenses, in addition to the settlement in Canada on their own.
●The Urgency of Our Mission:
The primary motivation behind bringing my family from Gaza to Canada is the devastating conditions they face. They lost everything: their home and their means of livelihood. Forced to flee with only the clothes they were wearing, Gaza became an unlivable place. My family members, including my parents, married brothers and sisters, and their families - 12 people in total.
●The family members are:
Rasha and her husband Hain and there there kids Salma 7 year, Jehad 5 year, Alma 1 year.
