Help my family to escape from the war in Gaza

Dear brothers and sisters of the world,

I am Khalil Al-Ghouti, and today I am reaching out to you with a prayer from the bottom of my heart. My family and I are refugees in Mawasi, Khan Younis, after being displaced from Rafah after it was entered, and we have been displaced repeatedly due to the violence that surrounds us.

As the eldest son, I have the responsibility to care for not only my own children, but also the children of my brothers and sisters, who were tragically martyred. My son is only three years old. These little ones are looking to me for survival, and although it breaks my heart to ask for help, I am now desperate. I cannot stand by and watch them perish in this war.

I am begging you for your compassion and generosity to help secure safe passage for my family through the Rafah crossing into Egypt. Although it is currently closed, there are costs involved to ensure that we can leave safely.

A dear friend of mine, who lives outside Palestine, has offered to help me run this campaign, as it is the only way to reach the outside world. My friend’s family members are here with us too, and for each person crossing into Egypt, it costs between $7,000 and $8,000. The goal is high because we are not just looking for shelter for my family, but for theirs as well.

The money raised through this GoFundMe campaign can only be processed outside of Palestine, which is why I need my friend’s help. Even small donations can make a huge difference, allowing me to provide basic necessities like food for my family while we wait in these horrific conditions. The markets here only offer the basics for survival.

Please, I humbly ask for your support. Videos of our situation can be shared upon request. Even if saving my life is not possible, let my plea reach those who can save the lives of my children and the children in my care.
