***UPDATE ***
#storimabli - Rhy berffaith i’r byd ma. ️
Following on from my previous update, Gwen and Rob have asked me to provide you all with the latest information.
It is with a heavy heart that I share this update on behalf of Mabli’s family and loved ones.
As previously mentioned, little Mabli sustained severe injuries in the collision that took place on Wednesday, June 21st 2023.
Unfortunately, these injuries were too severe to be reversed.
Despite days of immense strength from Mabli, she peacefully crossed over the rainbow bridge in the loving arms of Gwen and Rob in the early hours of Sunday, June 25, 2023.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the dedicated healthcare professionals who have been involved in Mabli's care throughout this challenging period. Their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment have meant the world to the family during these trying times. Additionally, the family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the compassionate chaplains of Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, whose guidance and support have brought solace and comfort. The outpouring generosity from those who have donated and sent messages of love and support has touched their hearts deeply, and they are immensely grateful for each and every gesture of kindness.
During this heart-wrenching time, I kindly request that everyone respects the family's privacy, allowing them the necessary space to cope with this unimaginable ordeal. As parents, this is their worst nightmare, and the pain they are experiencing right now is indescribable.
I will keep the fundraiser open, but the funds will now be directed towards supporting Rob, Gwen and Mabli’s 5 siblings who adored her endlessly as they navigate this difficult period, both emotionally and financially, while they grieve the loss of their precious baby girl, Mabli.
Dream big baby girl, fly high.

Too precious for this world ️
**********************************************************************************************
Hi all, I’d like to address a deeply unfortunate and tragic incident that occurred on Wednesday, June 21st 2023 outside Withybush Hospital.
In a tragic accident, Mabli Hall (8 Months Old) while being put back into her pushchair by her dad Rob, was involved in a collision with a car. As a result, Mabli sustained a severe head injury and was rendered unconscious, necessitating immediate medical attention at Withybush Hospital.
Given the gravity of her injuries, Mabli was airlifted to Cardiff University Hospital, where her condition was further evaluated. Regrettably, it has been determined that Mabli's injuries are serious, leading to her transfer to Bristol Children's Hospital, where she currently remains in critical condition.
In times like these, it is of utmost importance that both Rob and Gwen, Mabli's parents, are able to be by her side at all times. The hospital charity has graciously provided them with three nights of accommodation, up until June 25. However, beyond this point, Rob and Gwen will be responsible for covering their own expenses. Additionally, as Mabli has five siblings who also need to be near Bristol during this challenging period, I’d like to reduce the financial burden on the family so that they can focus on Mabli.
Gwen, who is currently on maternity leave, and Rob, who has been on leave to care for his ill mother for the past three weeks, are already facing enough and I’d like to alleviate any additional worries they may have during this time of immense sadness by asking for support.
Your financial support will help ensure that Rob and Gwen can be present for Mabli without the added burden of financial concerns. Any amount you can spare will make a meaningful difference in their lives.
In light of the circumstances, I’d also like to ask for your understanding and respect for the family's privacy. Should you have any inquiries, please direct them to me, as Rob and Gwen are currently unable to engage in conversation due to their constant presence at Mabli's side.
Diolch,
Sinead xx
