Help support Josh through the fight of his life

This fundraiser has been started to help offer support in whatever way possible for our great friend Josh Hillier.

Josh is facing the biggest fight of his life after being diagnosed with leukaemia. This has come as a huge shock, not only to Josh but to everyone that is closely connected to him or had the pleasure of meeting him.

We are so proud of Josh and his positive attitude toward fighting this. His life has been completely changed by his leukaemia diagnosis but he is ready to go to war against it, and win!

Josh can’t do this alone. He will need every bit of love and support from his friends and his family to help him through this.

Due the current pandemic and chemotherapy, Josh cannot have any visitors. His chemotherapy is expected to last several years. This lengthy treatment plan gives Josh the best chance to beat this.

Josh has been diagnosed with a rare but aggressive form of leukaemia. This disease has no cure, therefore, Josh will require monitoring and treatment for the rest of his life.

We are all devastated by Josh’s diagnosis and we all have a part to play in supporting him through this. He has been completely overwhelmed with the support, love and messages received and from all those who have helped him adjust to what he is facing, but most importantly, the motivation to beat this!

Josh posses a personality full of character. He is always cracking jokes, making people smile and is always there to support those during difficult times. His presence lights up a room and he is never short of a story, or two, to tell. From old school friends to people he has met travelling, friends he has made through the years, the boys he knows through watching his beloved Chelsea, family. Everyone would agree, Josh is simply one of a kind and one we all love.

We are open to any suggestions on what he may need or want but we are looking at getting a Josh a PS5 and provide a care package with new tracksuits, t shirts, slippers, bathrobes, comfy pillows along with other essentials of things he would love and help through. 

There is many who are collecting pictures, videos and messages and all this will be sent to him in due course. This will really show him how much support and love there really is behind him. 

Now, Josh is a very proud man and we feel it is best if this fundraiser is kept off social media platforms and kept private from him but this doesn’t mean you can not share it around with anyone who knew Josh and wants to show their support for him. 

The money raised will go towards providing the best care package possible and any leftover money will go towards any ongoing payments  Josh may have or need along the way.
