**Achievements:**
2024 Kobe Para World Championships: Silver medalist in the 400m with a personal record of 50.67 seconds, and a 5th place finish in the 100m.
2023 ParaPanAmerican Games in Santiago, Chile:** Gold medalist in the 100m and 400m, setting ParaPan American Records, and medaled in the long jump and as a member of the 4x100m Universal Relay.
**2023 World Para Championships in Paris:** Placed 4th in the 400m and 7th in the 100m and long jump, after only seven months in the sport.
USA T38 Long Jump Titles:** Two-time national champion.
**My Journey:**
My journey to track and field began unexpectedly while competing on the TV show Survivor, where I met Noelle Lambert, an above-the-knee amputee. She encouraged me to pursue Paralympic sports, leading to my introduction to Kris Mack, the USOPC Paralympic Coach at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center. Since then, I have dedicated myself to this sport, achieving remarkable success in a short period.
**The Challenge:**
Training at an elite level requires immense dedication and resources. Despite my achievements, balancing my responsibilities as an athlete, a father, and a part-time worker is challenging. Your financial support will help cover essential expenses such as training, equipment, travel, and living costs, allowing me to focus on my goal of representing El Paso and the USA at the Paralympics.
