Programs for Madison County Seniors
For 48 years, the Senior Center has been an important community asset.
It's true. Our programs improve lives and make our entire community a better, more compassionate place.
With your help - our nutrition programs and Meals on Wheels continued delivering hot meals to seniors in need - during the Covid shutdown and beyond.
With your help - our health and wellness programs, as well as our creative classes - continue to provide community for anyone age 60+ in our community.
And, the Senior Center is still being cautious until the pandemic is declared over. Our members are engaged and connected but we’ve decided to postpone in-person fundraising until later in 2022.
So many organizations have deeply felt the loss of in-person fundraising and our Senior Center is no exception. We are very grateful for your support and ask that you please consider making a gift to the Senior Center to help us meet our 2021-2022 budget. Our doors are once again open and your Senior Center - 501(c)3 nonprofit - depends upon community support to continue.
The Senior Center’s signature programs include Meals on Wheels , Center for Adult Day Care - celebrating 40 years of service, “Rock Steady Boxing” and Parkinson’s programming, homemaker services, wellness education and outreach, recreation & physical fitness – all geared toward supporting independence and enhancing physical and mental capability.
In order to replace lost revenue from in-person events cancelled due to Covid, our GoFundMe page goal of $75,000 is part of a multi-tiered approach to reach our critical fundraising goals.
