Support The White Rosettes to get to BHS 2024!

Who are we?

The White Rosettes are a Leeds-based female barbershop chorus. In October 2022 we won the LABBS National Ladies Chorus Championship for an unprecedented 17th time and have been European Ladies’ Barbershop Chorus Champions three times! Under the direction of Sally McLean, the chorus sings a range of styles, from strict barbershop, to jazz, gospel and show classics, entering prestigious national and international competitions and performing both in the UK and mainland Europe.

Why do we need your help?

In October 2022, we scored our highest-ever singing score and became the first ever chorus from the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS) to qualify for the association's automatic competition spot at the #bhs2024 Barbershop Harmony Society's International Contest. We are very excited to say that will be flying over to the USA to compete in Cleveland, Ohio, in July 2024!

We are hoping to represent ourselves as ambassadors for British barbershop and LABBS, and, importantly, to go with as many members of The White Rosettes as possible. But #makinghistory is an expensive business, and buying flights, hotels and registrations soon adds up.

So, how can you help?

We will be doing all we can to fundraise for our trip, including concerts, pantomimes and gigs – so feel free to come along and support us, or get in touch if you’re looking to book some barbershop entertainment! But it’s true when they say that every penny counts, so if you’re able to donate anything towards helping us achieve our barbershop dreams, we will be eternally grateful!
