Supporting Anthony Wood's Recovery
Donation protected
Dear KR and Delta Running Project community,
Our dear friend and valued member, Anthony Wood, needs our support now more than ever. As many of you may know, Ant suffered a serious accident in the mountains of Victoria, leaving him with extensive injuries that have landed him in ICU in Melbourne for the past ten days. This resilient man has endured multiple challenges, including ten broken ribs on his left side, a torn aorta, and had surgery to stabilize his condition.
Anthony's passion for running and his unwavering enthusiasm as the host of Monday KR10k endeared him to all of us. His care and unwavering positivity to fellow squad mates in Delta Running Project is well acknowledged.
He's been a driving force behind our running clubs, Kirribilli Runners, and Delta Running Project, always pushing us to reach new heights. Now, it's our turn to support him in his journey to recovery and rehabilitation.
As Anthony begins his healing process, let us come together as a community to show our love and support. We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will go directly towards easing the burdens that come with medical expenses, rehabilitation, and the necessary support he will require in his road to recovery.
Your generous donations will not only help Anthony regain his strength but also send a powerful message of solidarity, reminding him that he is not alone in this difficult time. We understand that emotions may run high, and we want to give Ant and his family the space they need to focus on his recovery. Once he is back on his feet, we will ensure that all your heartfelt messages of encouragement reach him.
Let's rally around Anthony Wood and show him the strength of our running community. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in his journey toward conquering mountains again. Together, we can help him get back on track and back to doing what he loves most.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Let's come together and uplift one of our own.
