Supporting Local Hospital Staff & Francis Wilson
Donation protected
With the COVID-19 pandemic still spreading and the work-from-home / quarantine restrictions looming, I thought to myself, what can we do to help our local healthcare providers on the frontlines in this time of crisis?
In short, Food.
The local DMV healthcare staff has to stay well-fed and well supported while they continue to work full-time shifts during the pandemic outbreak.
**All proceeds from this GoFundMe will be utilized for the food purchases being donated to local DMV hospitals.**
I've had conversations with local chefs and restaurant owners (listed in the links below) within the DMV in order to provide pricing estimates for different varieties of individually packaged and plated meals.
( Palette Dome Cuisine , Zaanchi , Bronson Bierhall , Foodhini , Capos Deli )
Per hospital, we are currently looking at feeding about, 40-50 healthcare staff at a cost of between $800-1,000 per hospital ($20 per head conservatively) between night and day shifts.
I have close friends and past clients who are nurses and physicians at the following major hospitals that have agreed to pick up any donated food and deliver it for us to the hospitals with a signed card from all sponsors involved.
The hospital staff have agreed to take pictures, tag any sponsoring businesses on social media, and thank those involved for their support in this time of crisis.
Here are the following hospitals that have been fed so far:
Friday (3/27) and Saturday (3/28):
Virginia Hospital Center - Arlington (3/28) - 50 meals prepared by Palette Dome Cuisine
Georgetown Hospital - DC (3/28) - 50 meals prepared by Zannchi
Inova Fairfax - Fairfax (3/27) - 50 meals prepared by Palette Dome Cuisine
Thursday (4/2) and Friday (4/3).
Inova Alexandria - Alexandria (4/2) - 50 meals prepared by Bronson Bierhall

If you are able to sponsor or would like to contribute monetary support, it will go a long way with supporting our local DMV hospital staff.
Keller Williams Metro Center will be expanding this cause to essential personnel throughout the DMV to support the fight against CoronaVirus.
Please share your CoronaVirus stories and understand that anyone can be at risk for COVID-19 exposure!
CoronaVirus has no age preference, and may still reinfect hosts who have been exposed.
Help us limit the spread of this pandemic and support your local communities.
