Please Support Our New Worship Space for All

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, our community has been looking for a new home to resume our public worship services. After an exhaustive search, we have found a new location for celebrating Mass and the Sacraments. St. John’s Inclusive Catholic Community is re-opening its doors at the Dandelion Collective, a grassroots organization committed to providing equitable access to growth and healing spaces. The community is looking forward to many years to come located at the Dandelion Collective in Washington, DC. While this is amazing, we need your help.

As a small Inclusive Catholic Community, we welcome all those who seek fellowship and a community of faith that is dedicated to living out the Gospel by advocating for and serving all people, especially those outcast and marginalized by society.

Our community seeks to bring God’s grace through sacramental signs to all people regardless of their age, race, gender identity, or who they love. Following Jesus’ example, we welcome everyone to join us in our prayer, sacraments, fellowship, and service to all those in need.

Unlike many Roman Catholic Churches in the area, we do not engage in tithing or passing around a collection basket during the Mass, following the example of the Apostles who used their skills and trades to cover the costs of the community. Even St. Paul mentioned how he would use his skills as a tentmaker to cover the costs of his own missionary journey.

Our own clergy have covered the costs of liturgical supplies and vestments as costs that should not be borne by the community itself. However, we do need your help to cover the cost of our rent at our new home. While the cost of living is high and it's harder to make ends meet, we would appreciate any support you can give. We hope, that your assistance and the future growth of our community, we will help us cover our rental costs and allow us to support the community around us.
