Helping parents who lost their only child
Donation protected
Update: I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude as we are stopping the fundraiser. We have raised enough funds that are needed. Additionally, we got the confirmation from the insurance company and they are also helping us. Your thoughtful consideration and action demonstrate a deep sense of responsibility and integrity. Your support means the world to us and has made a significant impact on our cause. Your belief in our mission and willingness to stand with us in support is truly inspiring. It's people like you who make a real difference in our community/world, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. Please know that your donation will be put to a very noble use, and we will keep you updated on the progress of the process in the meantime. We might end up having more funds than we initially estimated, so after the whole process ends, we are planning to donate the rest of the funds to the hospital, where Meet was operated on and took his last breath. We would highly appreciate it if someone has any suggestions regarding the same.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and for being a part of this meaningful journey with us.
Hi, my name is Siddhi Patel and I am fundraising for my brother, Meet Rakeshkumar Patel(20 years old)who met with a tragic accident while crossing the road at an intersection early in the morning when he was heading to his work. He came to Canada 7 months ago. He belongs to a small town in India. He was the only son of his parents and they are devastated by the news of losing their beloved son to this tragedy and want to see their son for the last time and complete his last rituals in his hometown. We are shattered by his profound loss. As we are processing through this grief, we are confronted with the stark reality of the financial emergency for his final journey home. With heavy heart we reach out to you to easing the financial strain on his parents as they have very poor financial condition. They are in debt as they took loans to support Meet's education and living expenses, Meet was studying and working so hard that he can payback his parents one day. Now, as he is no more between us, we are trying to raise fund to help his parents atleast financially. Every donation, no matter the size, will make help us to support his family . Let us come together in the honour of Meet's soul. Thank you for your Kindness and generosity.
(Note: We will release all the documents of transaction into his parents account later on )
