Please Help Save Elvis' Life with Heart Surgery
Donation protected
Hello friends, family, and kind strangers-
Those of you who personally know us, know that we are huge dog lovers who have always had a soft spot for the underdogs/dogs in need.
This is Elvis (formerly known as Leo).
He is a three month old French Bulldog.
He was born August 1, 2023.
He came into our lives on November 21, 2023. We instantly fell in love!
We sadly received horrible and unexpected news on November 27, 2023 by both his veterinarian and cardiologist. Elvis was diagnosed with a stage 6/6 heart murmur due to a congenital defect and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). Life can be so cruel. Because he is under 5KG, we were given one option to save his life and give him a fighting chance: surgical ligation. The surgery consists of going in and closing the valve. Prognosis with surgery is excellent, and within weeks after surgery the pet's activity can return to normal. If he does not get this surgery, he only has a few months to maybe a year before heart failure. It's sad to think this may be his first as well as last Christmas. He didn't deserve any of this.
The surgery was estimated $6,000-$10,000 (per CVSS words), though they said the average is *usually* between $7,000-$8,000.

We refuse to give up on him and figuring out a game plan as I write this. Please check out my Facebook Marketplace page as I will be posting whatever I can to make money to put towards his surgery.
It’s an uncomfortable feeling to ask people for money .. But this little guy is our family and the surgery he desperately needs is the only thing that can save his life which makes us want to do whatever we can in our power to help save his life!
We truly appreciate any and all donations since it is one step closer towards the surgery. We would be eternally grateful for ANY support/donations to help save this little guy's life and give him the life that he so deserves.
Either way, surgery or no surgery, we plan to have him live this life fully loved, spoiled, and as comfortable as possible while he is still on this Earth.
