Please Help Me Save My Wife's Life

I hope this note finds you all well and your lives thriving.

On May 6, the love of my life, my beautiful, strong, positive wife, loving family member and compassionate, generous friend to so many people and animals received news that her stage 4 breast cancer had progressed, including a tumor in her eye that is impairing her vision and sense of balance. This latest news has been devastating to us yet I have to find a way to help the girl who has given so much to me and to all who are fortunate enough to know and love her.

Susan has battled through many treatments during the past nearly six years with her own unique level of positivity and fortitude but, sadly, there is currently no medical cure for Stage 4 breast cancer; each medicine works until it doesn’t. Additional conventional infusion chemotherapies are still an option but the results are limited and the side effects can be intolerable as was the case in this last go-round. We have researched alternative cancer treatment and have found two centers that stand out with great success. We now need extraordinary means to save my wife’s life and put her cancer to bed once and for all through miraculous means of recovery.

The Gerson Institute and The Block Center for Integrative Cancer Treatment are two centers that have had success treating cancer based on a thorough analysis of each patient's situation and needs and a resultant all-encompassing treatment plan based on those needs. Track records for both centers over years of treatments speak for themselves and leave no doubt as to being Susan’s next steps. They reflect stories of stage 4 cancer patients being cured naturally through these approaches.

The Max Gerson Institute is a non-profit organization in San Diego, CA. The Gerson Therapy was developed by Dr. Max Gerson in the 1920s and their focus is to activate the body’s extraordinary immune system and ability to heal itself through organic, plant-based diet, raw juices, coffee enemas and natural supplements. 

The Block Center for Integrative Cancer Treatment in Skokie, IL treats cancer patients from all over the world, especially stage 4 cancer patients, using a multi-faceted approach that is individualized and emphasizes life. With multiple science-based strategies, they address the underlying molecular incidences that initiate and support cancer. Susan saw Dr. Block 25 years ago when first diagnosed and they helped her stay cancer-free for 20 years. She has an appointment scheduled there for June 5 and our goal is to get her there! Thus the timing of this GoFundMe page.

It is critical Susan be able to participate in these treatment programs as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot do it alone as insurance does not cover this type of treatment, so we have created this GoFundMe page with a goal of raising $20,000 to allow Susan to travel to San Diego and Chicago to participate in these programs to do everything possible to beat her cancer. The ability to do this would give us so much hope, and hope is everything. 

Your prayers and support would also mean the world right now and allow my love and best friend to continue to be in all of our lives. The world is a much better place with my incredible wife in it and I cannot imagine a life without her.
