Help Suzan Beat Cancer Fund

Donation protected
As many of you know Suzan was diagnosed with breast cancer, aggressive ductal carcinoma, in December of 2017.  She acted ferociously and quickly to get rid of it.  She had a bilateral mastectomy on January 17th in the hope of that being the end of it...NOT!  Sadly, 9 lymph nodes were removed of which 2 showed signs of cancer so more treatments are now needed.  Bravely, to say the least, Suzan has looked cancer in the face and said "No way are you gonna get me".  Chemo treatments start on Monday, 2/12/2018 and will continue for about 20 weeks.  Then there may or may not be a need for other treatments like radiation and immune therapy for possibly many years.

It took much prodding to get Suz to allow me to start this "go fund me" as it is against her grain to ask for help.  She's a giver, not a taker.  It is our turn to help Suzan.  She is so fortunate to have a wonderful group of good friends, family, coworkers, and a sisterhood of dots to brighten her every day.  Any of us that know Suzan know her to be the MOST giving person with her time and friendship.  She is ALWAYS there for all of us, running errands, giving rides, making meals, and even helping financially for those of us when needed.  She has been a godsend to our community and our world.  Now, she needs our help.

My goal in setting up this fund is to raise money towards the extremely high deductible and the other incidentals that Suzan has and will continue to incur throughout this healing process.  She will not ask for help but she needs it with the diminished ability to work and the mounting bills.   I am only looking to cover the costs incurred and if additional monies are raised Suzan is committed to donating them to a couple of her favorite charities like Home2Homes and The Ellie Fund.

We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity.  Together we can help alleviate some of the financial burden that sadly is incurred while fighting this horrible disease.  Prayers, positive thoughts and love are always welcomed.  Always feel free to reach out to Suzan and just say hi which will surely brighten her day.
