Swarna Vudatha Family Support
Tax deductible
Swarna(34), Kiran(41), and their only daughter Bindhusri(9) were returning to their apartment in downtown Chicago after watching a movie on the night of August 25th 2018. They were accompanied by friends and were about three miles away from home when unfortunately, their car was hit by a vehicle. All the passengers(5) were admitted into the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. Swarna was admitted into the ICU and breathed her last on August 27th at 8:32AM CST. Kiran was admitted to the Trauma Observation and was discharged on August 27th at 11AM, and Bindhu was admitted to the Pediatrics ICU and was discharged on August 27th at about noon. Their friends are now recovering as well and are in a state of shock.
Swarna was a home maker and followed her dreams to build and raise her family in USA. Swarna and Bindhu migrated to USA about five months ago (shortly after Bindhusri finished her fourth grade in India) to join her husband Kiran, who has been working as a Software Engineer in Chicago for the last one year. The family was excited to be together again, and Bindhu was looking forward to join school as a fourth grader a week later on Sept 3rd. The accident has shattered the dreams of this family, and they are counting on the support of the friends and family to lead the life that Swarna dreamt of.
NATS Helpline team is actively working with family members and friends for the fund raising support.
