ROSS DAVIS' GOLF CAREER
Donation protected
Since I started playing golf at the age of 9, the professional golfers on the TV grasped my attention and created a dream; the dream of playing professional golf. I played high school golf at Episcopal High School, and went on to receive a scholarship from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I played for the Ragin' Cajuns until I graduated this past May. I plan to play in one more amateur event in August, and following that event, turn professional and participate in the North Dakota Open at the end of August. From there, Q-School follows, and depending on the status I receive from Q-School, I will go play in those events I am eligible to play in. I will be playing and practicing out of the University Club of Baton Rouge to work on my game. The money donated will be used for travel expenses and entry fees to the tournaments, which average $900 per event. To get the opportunity to chase the dream and compete at the highest level will not only be a dream come true, but a great opportunity to make my living doing what I love."
