The Big Match Game for good causes
The Big Match is raising money for good
causes by holding two charity football
matches at St Mary’s Stadium in May.
Most recently raising money for Elara to
receive Cancer Treatment.
Here is her story.
Elara is 3 and half years old and facing a
battle no child should ever have to.
Treatment is available to help beat
cancer
but it is going to cost over £200k Fundraising to support her is going well with
over £50k already raised but the race against the clock is on. The total money has to be raised by May if she is to get the treatment.
Whilst we have to understand that the game can only go ahead if allowable due
to
Covid-19 we realise that the football is secondary with the primary GOAL being
the money we are going to raise to help
her.
The Campaign for Elara has stopped and
we are now raising money for further
causes.
We are now raising funds for Alfies Wish and Hi five for Ollie,
https://www.alfieswish.org.uk
Alfie’s Wish is a registered charity supporting children with cancer and their families by funding days out to help make
special memories.
Hi Five for Ollie,
Just before his 2nd birthday little Ollie
was diagnosed with high-risk
neuroblastoma. He needs to raise £600k
for treatments to help him beat this
disease.
As always in the interests of transparency here is how we will use the fundraising-
