Tomorrow's Hope Ramadan Appeal
Donation protected
Who are we?
Tomorrow’s Hope is a series of TV shows produced by Trio Productions in London and focuses on creating awareness of various social and cultural issues in Afghanistan. We are a non-profit CIC registered as Tomorrow's Hope Media CIC. We do this fund-raising campaign due to our concerns about the families in need who require support during the holy month of Ramadan. We believe it is every individual Afghans’ moral responsibility to give a helping hand to the people in need in the country.
Why should you donate through us?
We aim to keep the whole campaign process very transparent. Our team members will initially have a face-to-face meeting with the head of the family to assess their situation. We will then record and upload their video on social media, so our audience understands who will receive their funds. But, we understand, that it is not easy for some families to appear on TV or social media. So we give them the option to hide their faces or identity in front of the camera.
Sponsorship scheme:
We record and keep video footage to build bridges and connect needy families to long-term sponsors in the UK. As a result of our last two years' campaigns, we have managed to find permanent sponsors for more than 140 families.
If you are interested in joining the scheme and becoming a sponsor of any needy family, then please get in touch with us via e-mail: [email redacted]
A nation in resilience:
Afghanistan has been on the alert list, with millions living under the poverty line. There are thousands of families who need support during Ramadan. We hope that more campaigns will be launched to support people in Afghanistan.
Together, we can bring smiles and help the communities with resilience and hope to provide them with support in the challenging yet rewarding month of Ramadan. We are working towards building resilience. Yes, it is not easy to change everything and heal the wounds of all, but at least we know that even helping a few can be the start of a big relief move. With hope and resilience, we can, and we will beat every odd, only if we unite against it.
Who are we raising money for?
We want to raise as much as possible to help at least 100 families in Afghanistan this year. Last year (in 2021), we raised funds for 54 families in Afghanistan. However, this year we aim to help more families in different provinces of Afghanistan, including Kabul, Northern and Southern provinces.
We aim to categorise and prioritise our distribution based on a face-to-face assessment method by our team members in different provinces. We will provide further details through our social media, so keep an eye out for more stories and families that you can support now and later. In addition, you can watch the videos from our previous campaigns on our social media channels.

Our priority will be families with special needs, those whose primary breadwinner has a physical disability, and widows who are now struggling for basic living needs. In addition, we will focus on generalised relief support to every needy family based on the funds raised through this campaign.
We aim to support 100 families by raising funds within 20 days (a challenge), but we will continue this campaign as far as possible. This is our challenge as a diaspora community, and we hope you will join us in this campaign; it is your campaign, and we are only facilitators.
100 Families, 20 Days!
It is time to do good and be thankful to God that has given you a chance to do good. You never know what happens in life; donate now and get the real happiness and peace within you from the charity you make.
Why are we raising money?
To bring more resilience within our communities and support families in need during Ramadan and Eid festive. We all know that Eid is an important festive for many Muslims. Afghans celebrate Eid with joy, but now their little pleasure of Eid that used to be observed is no longer happening for many reasons, including poverty.
You can spare any amount, and this amount will mean a lot to the people receiving it and to us. Those families and their children deserve better, and they should be smiling this Eid! Can we make it possible? Yes! We can!
How donations/grants will be used?
We aim to give at least 10,000 AFN (approx. equivalent to £100) to each head of the family to support them during Ramadan and have some savings for Eid. In addition, we will give away cash grants and let them decide how they want to use them, as we don't know everything about their daily needs; maybe they know how to spend it better based on their needs and priorities.
For example, if we raise £10,000, we will distribute the fund to 100 families. So our idea for grant distribution is that Amount raised/number of families (current target 100 families) = £10,000/100 = £100 (this amount will be converted into the local AFN currency).
Exchange rate note: The figures above are just for estimated projection; if the exchange rate on the date of transfer is above the estimated rate, we will support more than 100 families. For instance, if the exchange rate is 115 AFN, we will be able to support 115 families.
We will produce evidence reports to keep the whole process transparent. If you are interested in sponsoring families for longer-term directly, we can arrange direct contact and provide facilitation through our team members.
