My Breast Cancer Medical Expenses

Hi my name is Tuamasaga (Saga) Lilly Matemate-Stowers. I am fighting stage 3 Breast Cancer. It's been a very difficult road for me because this will be my 2nd time fighting "CANCER". In Oct 2014, I was diagnosed with Uterine cancer. After having a hysterectomy done and radiations I will never forget the words that my Doctor said, "your test results show ZERO cancer cells and you are CANCER FREE/CURED. My family and I cried and continue to give thanks to our Heavenly Father...
In June 2015, I slipped and fell and hit my left armpit/side of my breast on the tub. I had a big brusie/bump from my fall and it took a couple of weeks for the bruise to go away but the bump remained. I didn't think anything of it because it didn't hurt and I went on with my daily routine/life. Once again my life was threatened in Dec 2015. I knew something was wrong when receiving a mammogram took longer than usual and the tech needed to get a second set of xrays/ultrasounds. My doctor began to ask me questions revolving around breast cancer. He then breaks it to me that the bump is a mass/lump and is cancerous. In disbelief, I went blank.
Again, my family and I prayed and fasted for the best procedure to fight this cancer. My doctor did give me two options and chemotherapy was my choice. I became depressed and began stressing over our finances. My husband was working out of state and had to quit his job to care for me. He has been working part-time jobs around home that will work around my doctor appts and chemotherapy sessions. I qualified for FMLA at work but did not qualify for short-term disability nor government financial aid. So, I tried to work between chemotherapy weeks (chemo 1st and 3rd week/work 2nd and 4th week) to help with our financial situation. In March 2016 my chemo doses were so strong that I got really sick and I didn't have the strength to continue to work and had to go on FMLA.
We emptied out our savings account just to get by but the medical bills keep adding up. My husband and I are very hardworking people and are known by our family and friends to be givers when someone is in need.
We are asking for your help please, to help pay my medical bills. I have yet to meet my deductible which is due July 1, 2016.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I appreciate you all and I humbly thank you in advance for your help and donation. God bless you for your love and support.

Love,

T. Lilly Matemate-Stowers
