#FeelREAL: KEEPING HOPE ALIVE in 2025

UPDATE 1/12/25: Because of the DEVASTATING WILDFIRES here in Los Angeles, our annual fundraiser has now become Aid for the Dogs, Cats & Wildlife that have been tragically displaced, Outreach, and providing food and supplies to those in NEED. Your donations, friends, go in to a CommUNITY Fund that is actively assisting.

12/27/24:

It has been quite the YEAR…and yet, we are still HERE. As are too many Dogs, Cats, and others caught in the Shelter system, and on the streets here in LA.

We have had stunning SAVES this year, so many BRILLIANT Rescues & Adoptions, and more than our share of sadness. Which, frankly, is the world right now….and our help is NEEDED - as Rescuers - to Keep Going.

SO, Faced with the enormity of the year ahead for animals in LA and surrounding…Seeing a spike in abandoned animals because of housing issues…Despite the constant increased cost of vetting…Despite the Overwhelm and the option to hide…and In Spite all of our personal mountains and one of us still in Recovery from Brain Surgery:

WE ARE RE-UPPING our COMMITMENT to making a difference in 2025!

Which, happens to mark our TENTH YEAR as The REAL Bark, with many of us Teaming together for YEARS prior for epic Rescuing. Our Eclectic Team stands UNITED to continue to be a Thoughtful, Ethical, Legit Rescue that is not afraid of challenge. The elder, the weakest, the left behind, the abused, and the forgotten have our Hearts + Focus.
