TROUBLED DOGS GAVE ME PURPOSE

My name is Michael Howard and I am trying to open a dog training facility and am here to share my story. 
Most of my life I've been in and out of trouble with no place to live or any type of emotional support. In 2012 I was labeled a "Habitual Criminal" and sent to prison for 8 to 20 years although it guaranteed a steady roof over my head for awhile I decided it was time to make a change. I studied for and earned my G.E.D and entered into the "PUPS  PROGRAM" at Warm Springs Correctional Facility in Carson City, Nevada. I quickly came to realize that these troubled dogs that were crossing my path and I were a lot alike , misunderstood. All of the dogs that are in this program are  labeled "Not Fit For Adoption" or "Death Row Dogs" when they arrive. I am proud to say that every one of the 65 dogs I worked with over the last 8 years in the "PUPS PROGRAM" were adopted out to Forever Homes. Over the course of the years I worked with all breeds and temperaments. These once referred to as "Not Fit For Adoption" dogs are now referred to as.... "Great Family Pets",  "Well Mannered and Obedient" , "Best Friend".  As much as it may seem to some that I saved their lives in reality they saved mine! My goal is to "Pay it Forward" to as many dogs as I can as I continue my journey Living Life on Life's Terms. Thanks to being part of this program I have been able to work with many types of people as well. Many of them have kept in touch and have became good friends and a healthy foundation that remind me of how far I've came without loosing focus on how far I can go. In order to achieve what I am telling you all about I will need to secure a location with as little restrictions as possible. By that I need to obtain a small piece of property with enough land to be able to train and work with  various breeds and temperaments that allows me to utilize my skills to my fullest ability.
