TACOS EL CHUY FAMILY RELIEF FUND
Donation protected
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GET TACOS EL CHUY BACK ON THE ROAD!!!
Yesterday, our friends at Tacos El Chuy were in a car accident in Felton. Thankfully no one was harmed, but the truck that protected their lives sustained enough damage to be taken out of commission for the foreseeable future.
This food truck has been their main source of income, and has become a lifeline to keeping the business and family afloat since the Shelter in Place orders were enacted nearly a month ago in Santa Cruz County. The repair costs and loss of business while they wait for the insurance claims to be processed, and the for repairs to be completed will no doubt be financially devastating for this small business and family.
While no official estimates have been handed down by their insurance as of 04/08, we are reaching out to our Santa Cruz community to ask for help in supporting our long time friends and their family of 7.
All donations made to this page will go directly to Chuy and his family to help cover repair costs, hopefully speed up the repairs, and cover some of the financial losses their business will endure while they bring the truck back up to code.
Direct donations may also be made to the family via Venmo: @Jesus-Falcon-2. If you’d like to donate in another way, or have any other questions, please feel free to contact me directly [email redacted].
This is an incredibly trying time for us all in every way imaginable, so if you are in a position to donate, please give what you can. If you are not able to help out financially, please share this fundraiser with your community. Every little bit of help adds up to make a huge difference! Let’s keep our thriving Santa Cruz small business community alive, well, and well-fed.
Thank you!
