Tanners Wood North Pole Challenge
School Fundraising Challenge!
As you know, Christmas will be a little different this year so to add a little Christmas cheer, we're mixing exercise and fundraising throughout December. Exercise is so good for our mind and body that we really want to encourage the children to enjoy it and give it a purpose. We would love for parents to spread the word amongst friends and family and donate through this Go Fund Me Page. The majority of money we raise will be donated to a wonderful charity called Young Minds. This very worthwhile charity helps young children overcome mental health issues and provides them with the help and support they need. A smaller amount will then be donated to the school, through Friends of Tanners Wood. In order to raise the money, the children will be working together at school to run or walk the distance to the North Pole, using our daily mile track. There are 2560 miles or 4,119,921 metres - which is 17,166 laps of our daily mile track to get there! The teachers can't leave all the hard work to the children so they are running/walking a marathon in December. Please donate, spread the word and encourage your children to take part this December!
