IUKL World Kettlebell Competition
Donation protected
In late summer of 2014, Rick Huse approached me about trying my hand at kettlebell sport. As a Les Mills US Trainer, I had a very solid fitness base and was looking for something to take me to the next level, so after a few weeks of nudging, I decided to take the leap and give it a go. Within the past year I have competed 3 times, jumped 3 ranks and set a National Record for the 16 kg Biathlon in the 58 kg weight class. This National Record secured a spot for me as a member of Team USA at this years World competition in Dublin. Woo woo! It's always been a goal of mine to compete in an athletic event for Team USA and now it's happening! Many of my friends and colleagues have generously offered to help pay some of the expenses for the competition and this page is a simple way of creating an opportunity for you to give if you so desire.
With airfare, hotel, food, uniform, and registration, my anticipated competition costs will run about $2,500.
Thank you so much for considering helping out. If you want to learn about kettlebell sport or kettlebell training in general, send questions my way! I look forward to being able to repay your generosity. :)
