Taylor’s Fight Against Lupus
Donation protected
I’ve created this Go Fund Me to help with my 12 year old daughters medical bills and medication cost. I was forced to stop working when she was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis at the end of November 2018. I took Taylor to the emergency room on November 26, 2018 thinking she was dealing with some digestive issues, to find out she had kidney damage. Taylor was life flighted to Columbus, Ohio, which is 2 1/2 hours away from where we live in Toledo. After a kidney biopsy Taylor was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematous (SLE). The disease was attacking her kidneys, heart & lungs. She was finally able to go home a month later, but still has to return to Columbus three times a week for dialysis treatment and also every other week for a medication infusion. This diagnosed a shook Taylor’s world. Her life has went from being a bubbly young lady that loves to read and write stories, to hospital stay, medications & confusion. She is currently home getting stronger so she’s able to get back to school and return to her normal routine. The month stay in the hospital and the amount of medications she’s taking has made her pretty weak, so that’s made getting around quite difficult. I appreciated anyone that has taken the time out of there schedule to read Taylor’s story. Any donation will help and will be much appreciated. Thank you so much!
