#TeamDC Shrewsberry Monumental
Donation protected
Shrewsberry has been a supporter of the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon (IMM) since its inception in 2008. The marathon is the brain child of our friend and client, Carlton Ray. After starting the marathon, Carlton left to lead the DC Water Clean Rivers Program in 2009 and is a big reason we are working in the Washington D.C. area. He still stays connected as Chairman of the Board and Bill has been a Board Member for 3 years.
Leading up to the race on November 5, Shrewsberry will continue to demonstrate our outstanding volunteer efforts (as we do every year) by working packet pickup, traffic control, water stations and gear check. Also this year, we are increasing the challenge to our staff and friends in support of this event. Steve Wheeler and Victor Macedo (Shrewsberry D.C.) will be challenging Indy office staff Nola Albrecht and Erving Williams! All will be participating in the Shrewsberry Monumental Challenge by running in the IMM half!
Steve and Victor will run against Nola and Erving, and may the best time win! This year, their participation will raise money for the IMM charity partner, Indianapolis Public School Foundation, as well as local education partners in Washington D.C. (DC Public Schools). Feel free to join the Challenge by running the race or donating to the race charities via our Shrewsberry Monumental Challenge site.
