Hello Everyone!
My name is Lyndsey Benner and I am starting this campaign to raise money for my amazing nephew Troy. Troy has Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia (a very complex heart defect) No, we had never heard of this before and wish no one else had to either. He was born almost 8 weeks early (12/31/12) and had open heart surgery 3 days before his actual due date. His ToF is a more severe case and we've had some complications. So after 3 surgeries to his heart and arteries, his repair is not complete. He may never have it fully completed. We WERE at a stand still waiting, searching around the world for more knowledge and opinions on Troy's abnormal anatomy and what can we do next to get him healthy UNTIL last Friday 10/23/15! Troy had been receiving all his medical attention at Akron Children's Hospital until they reached a point where they just didn't have the answers on the next step. All Troy's medical information was sent to CA to a specialist there. My sister, Dani, received a phone call from the Dr. at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in California Friday. This Dr. and hospital have extensive experience with Troy's condition and are recommending they travel to California for further evaluations. We aren't positive when they are wanting him to come yet but want to be ready. That is where this campaign comes into play. All money raised will go to help offset the cost of expenses for mulitple flights, needing to take time of work and all that goes along with things of this nature. Our #1 concern is getting Troy Boy the best medical treatment as possible, we will figure the financial part out! I told my sister we WILL get him there! We ask for any monetary donations you are able to give regardless of how small, but we also ask for all the prayers and positive thoughts we can get! I, we, thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!
